Tradition serving hospitality

The Azienda Agricola Orticaia began in 2001, following its initial purchase in 1998 from the owner Dino Baroni. He had always maintained  farming activities  first as a sharecropper and then as a direct renting farmer since 1983.

The farming company raises cattle of the Limousine breed with the line  “Vacca-Vitello” that are for the most part the top line registered in the Genealogical Book of Breeds.

The farming company cultivates vineyards and olive trees as well as the “Marrone” (chestnuts) IGP of Mugello and Small Fruits, such as ribes (red currant), blackberries and rasberries.

These various products are obtained with practical traditional farming methods having a low impact on the environment and also respect the regulations of biological agriculture.
